life. (2021)

Inspired by the select passage “life” from Devi(l) by Sujaya Devi. Our character is cornered and in solitude.  A glimmer of light crosses the room and grabs her attention. We are unsure whether our character is distracted or in search of this light. The source of the light and it’s origin are unknown, but she is drawn to it and, perhaps, lost in it.

Inspired by the select passage “life” from Devi(l) by Sujaya Devi. Our character follows the luminous light, which sinks deeper into the dark depths. As she continues to sink, the natural light above begins to fade. How far will our character go to grab onto a light that may fade at any moment? And when it does fade, will it be too late to climb back up?
